Description
So I've seen a lot of people redesigning the mane 6, and I was inspired to try it out myself. Instead of going full-blown and drawing all of them at the same time, I decided I'd start out with two of my favourite characters. Many people redesign Fluttershy whilst she is still a pegasus, and the leaked designs showed her being a unicorn, but I personally felt it made the most sense to make her an earth pony.
With Applejack I kept her as an earth pony, because of her down-to-earth nature.
I had given them a bit less saturated olouring because I felt it was softer ion the eyes, and it fit these two pesonality wise. Both are quite humble, and I feel that neither are too show-offish, therefore their new designs should reflect that feature.
Their cutiemarks are changed as well, Applejack's to fit her colour scheme, and Fluttershy's to give it a new look.
I feel that of the two, Fluttershy had bee the most altered, from her race change to her mane length. Let's just say I took a bit of inspiration from Dumbbell hairstyle wise for our favourite shy element.
I hope you all enjoy these new designs as much as I enjoyed making them. I'll be sure to redesign the others soon!
