Hmm... how about creating OC's based on things you like, how you act, or generally personal traits? That might lead to good character development.

I kinda ment for that as a joke ^^" But nonetheless i see your point, although i don't really think about character development a lot when creating oc's. I just do it for nice designs. ^^

Yeah, I tried doing that once, make characters that looked nice, but because I didn't add solid personalities to them, they fell flat, and I had to scrap them for good...

Also, I tend to take jokes too seriously...  :s
