BIG design change. Took some color inspiration from my tortie cat and markings are a mix Quill's original design and Cas's old design. Now he doesn't look like a wolf version of my character Riley lol

Personality: Quiet|Empathetic|Awkward|Confused|Giant Sweetheart|Emotional Bottler

+Quiet: Quill is a wolf of few words. He becomes easily tongue tied and embarrassed when he's upset so just avoids situations like that as much as he can. He prefers to observe over giving his opinion. Who would care anyway?

+Empathetic: You know that whole 'the saddest/loneliest people are the kindess'? That's Quill. He hates seeing others in a rough situation, but is unsure how to help. He wants to, but he's afraid of messing up and making it worse. Usually he sticks around as a giant, fuzzy support and talks little. He just wants others to be happy but has no clue how to make it happen. He tries so hard.

+Awkward: Doesn't even begin to describe it. He's almost constantly blushing under his fur because of how uncomfortable most situations make him. Though he prefers the company of females over males, sometimes the girls get a little too personal and close for him to be ok with. Enter panic mode and make an idiot of himself.

+Giant Sweetheart: Despite his gruff, silent exterior Quill is a giant gummy bear on the inside. Feeling sad? He brings you flowers. A little chilly? He has fur and body heat to spare. Too tired to hunt? One rabbit on the way. He doesn't always let other wolves know that he's the one behind little gifts because, hey, awkward and emotionally idiotic.

+Emotional Bottler: Unfortunately Quill has the nasty habit of bottling his feelings up until they reach critical mass and he freaks out. This doesn't happen TOO often, but when it does he's a very nasty piece of work to be around. Rage fits are also brought on if you hurt/mistreat someone he cares about (spoiler alert: he cares about almost everyone).

PreGroup History: Quill used to belong to a relatively renowned pack and was part of the last litter of the alpha male and female. They'd grown old and were more than ready to step down as leaders. Most of their children had moved on and started lives of their own, so this last litter had to count. Quill was picked out to be the next alpha due to his physical size advantage over his smaller siblings. As they started training him they began to realize their mistake. Quill had very little leadership qualities, almost never spoke, and would often become so embarrassed of himself that he'd make a quick getaway. It didn't help that he rejected all the suitable females his parents picked for him. No one could understand how a wolf could be so picky. This viewpoint by the pack only made his life harder as he tried to deal with the rumors and whispers about his inferiority.
His parents were so ashamed that they gave up on him all at once. Quill was barely welcomed around the main den and was constantly shunned by the other wolves. One wolf in particular though still treated him kindly. Quill became codependent on the male, trying to get every emotional and mental need from the other male. Eventually he began to realize why he'd always rejected the other females. Upon voicing his concerns to the other male, he was swiftly attacked and driven away. Quill was heartbroken, confused, and hurt. The other male had suddenly turned on him and only stoked the flames of rumors around the pack. It all became too much for Quill to bear and he ran away. It was only by chance that he ended up settling down in an area that would soon be claimed by the Felfang pack. Not wanting to leave his home, he joined the pack. He mostly keeps to himself, often found brooding near bodies of water. Maybe one day he'll open up and let someone in.
