Annnd we're back! Moved Sebastian over from DoC and he's all grown up.

Short Description: Sebastian takes after both his Mother and Father in terms of appearance. His build is very much that of a collie/shepherd while his long, silky coat is more reminiscent of a Stabyhoun. His coloration is also a blend of both of his parents, as well as his markings. Sebastian was very small and chubby as a pup, practically a runt. As he grew, he shed his baby weight and shot up even taller than his older brother. Even though he's a young adult now, he still sometimes forgets how large he is, usually to his own embarrassment as he trips over his own legs or bumps various body parts on door frames.

Personality:

Sweet: You'd be hard put to find a genuinely sweeter or nicer guy than Sebastian. His mother always fawns over her "little gentleman" and coos about how polite and sincere he is. Sebastian gets real enjoyment out of making others happy and is always there to lend a helping paw.

Nervous: Sebastian was a very nervous pup and, unfortunately, still hasn't grown out of it. He gets very uncomfortable if he's the center of attention and is always second guessing himself. He definitely has a touch of anxiety that isn't helped by all of the pressure he puts on himself. Social gatherings also make him feel awkward, even though he enjoys the company of others.

Earnest: Desperate to please his family and prove himself, Sebastian will do his best until he drops. His Mother and Father have found him, more than once, face first in the dirt while he was supposed to be herding or tending to the animals. He often forgoes treatment for ailments or sicknesses because he can't stand the thought of being even weaker than he already is, resulting in him becoming so injured/sick that he physically can't continue.

Momma's Boy: Sebastian has been, and always will be, a GIANT momma's boy. He's one of those guys who could honestly say his mom is one of his best friends (awww). She has always been his greatest support and still helps him pick himself up and dust himself off when he gets really low.

Planner: The opposite of impulsive, Sebastian needs to know the who, what, where, and why of situations. It probably stems from his anxiety and inner perfectionist. How can he make sure everything turns out alright if he doesn't know what's going on!? The only exception to this is, of course, his brother Mack. As pups, Mack was constantly dragging Sebastian along on adventures and getting the two of them into trouble. Even though he'll complain and regret it later, he'll still go just about anywhere Mack goes.

House Description: Sebastian lives near his family farm in a small woodsy-cottage. The outside is dark wood and it has light green shutters with black roof. Inside it small but cozy with one bedroom, kitchen/dining room combo, living room, and bathroom. He keeps his house tidy and has little furniture (all hand me downs). He usually has fresh flowers on the dining room table (depending on the season) and has pencil etchings of various flowers hanging on the walls.

Background:
Sebastian was born last in a litter of three pups on a cool Autumn day. A native to the Pawprint Islands, he comes from a long line of farming dogs on his Father's side; a line of hard-working dogs who spent long days tending to crops and animals. His Mother's family was wealthy and got into farming for the fun of it (dealing in exotic animals), something his Father's family scoffed at (“That ain't farming. Farming isn't meant to be fun. It's hard work, it's our way of life, and it's how we survive.”), but Shep and Blue managed to find love together despite that and the three pups were born. Shep is not as strict as the family he comes from, but he is passionate about farming and works hard to instill a good work ethic onto his children. Sebastian has always tried his best to live up to his father's expectations, but he always feels like he's failing him. With his Mother's gentle encouragement he has tried branching out from the farm and exploring his own interests. Unfortunately, he isn't sure what those are? Baking could be fun. But for now, he's still desperate to prove his worth, not only to his family, but to himself.
