Another from the same world as Syn. Airenne (Eye-rin) (Ai for short.)

About: Airenne, along with Syn, was a human test subject for a project experimenting with the ability of humans to adapt and control the magics contained in mysterious crystals. Airenne helped Syn escape the project, but not without great cost. Syn had already been exposed to her destined crystal, and Ai was nearly killed for attempting to take her (unbound) crystal with her for observation. They were rescued and taken to a medical facility to attempt to piece Airenne back together.

It was soon discovered Ai's crystal was unlike Syn's. Instead of destructive power it contained healing magics that could be tapped into by the bearer. The medics decided that it could greatly help them not only rebuild Ai, but it could also help others as well. As they reconstructed her body (arms, legs, and a hole in her torso), they carefully placed the crystal in a casing in her chest.

The crystal helped her heal and recover quickly, but upon further investigation the crystal could not be removed. Her body had become dependent upon it to truly stay alive. She now uses the power of the crystal to protect her companion Syn and all else who they come across who need help. They intend to take the project by storm and free all those still under experimentation.

(Her claws work somewhat like needles, grab target and inject healing magic. Injection site is also healed upon removal of claws.)
Unlike Syn, a second form has not yet been discovered.
