I would first like to point out that I disagree with DeviantArt's choice to allow individuals to rate 0 and half stars and clarify that when I rate 3 stars it means "competent" and when I rate 4 it means "particularly good". 5 stars would be excellent to a masterful level and it's very rare to receive this rating.
Secondly, I rarely consider the spiritual elements of a suggestive or softcore piece as they are usually strictly physical, and default to 3 stars unless it is a bad image overall or a very classy pinup.
The technique of the image is strong primarily in its color choice and subtle bloom effect, which creates a good balance of pale and saturated colors and allows for Twilight to sufficiently contrast with the background.
Said background is, correctly, somewhat less-detailed than the subject. This is a good thing, because it simulates a depth of field, and to do otherwise would distract from our subject.
A major appeal point of any character is in the face, which centers on the eyes -- the eyes of this image are drawn well and show a classically endearing expression.
Despite its overall cute style, three major issues catch my attention and detract from the appeal of the piece:
- Her shoulders lack definition, being very thin and tapered and showing a clear line rather than a natural blend into her torso. The shoulders should be a bit rounder or squarer
- Her back legs are incredibly long -- perhaps double the length of her front legs -- and lack ankles. Her knees here terminate and lead directly into her heels and feet
- Her tail lacks depth and volume, looking very flat and a little short (the latter due partially to the length of her legs)
I believe too much was put into lining Twilight's rump, especially the more well-lit right side, creating a surgical and fake appearance; it looks more natural to use less harsh lines and rely on the shape of shading. In addition, a horse's behind does not have the same "bubble butt" effect as a human's, and the outline should be drawn as though the rump and thigh were essentially one rounded shape, the thickest part being at about the mid-thigh (which on a horse is right where you've placed the inside lines)
Other minor issues include:
- The curvature of her neck, an apparent abrupt thinning which may merely be harsh shading
- The connection between her back and rear lacks curvature and depth - it may be best to leave the line of her rump solid all the way around
- The shape of the mouth and nose, which should on a pony essentially be one facial feature, are not distinctly defined
Overall, I find it a pleasant and cute picture marred primarily by the back legs - if the issues with the rump, legs, and tail were addressed, that being the focus of the image, the other issues would be relatively minor.

Beautiful just... amazing, i love your style of drawing. nice and firm but you have flow with compact order which is just great for any artiest, it helps balance strong independent and freedom like the flow of a river. calm and smooth but it always reaches the bigger picture/ dangerous side the still controlled but has a bit of rebel. But of course all pieces of artwork can always be better even ones like this. I don't know your life but you seem to have an intertwined mood in this picture which would have made it even better if you were to make that stand out more.
