Description
Studying more anatomy and I ended up drawing this. The eyes are empty because I suck at eyes and need to buy a thinner pencil for small detailed bits like that anyway!
Here is a speedpaint video, it's short and I cut out all the boring bits then added some nice music for your viewing pleasure www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-ov9t…
I've got some more stuff to upload AND it's my birthday tomorrow so, yay me! After christmas, I am dropping my biggest personal project so I should be more active here with more drawings!

Really nicely done!
It's something I tried awhile back, and it's hard to get the dynamic motion right, so kudos for doing it so well here!

I love the style you used here; a mix of traditional and digital. I thought it was all traditional until I watched the speedpaint (which was also really cool, by the way). It's a really interesting way to work, and I like it. Overall this looks good, but I have a couple of suggestions (other than the eyes, though that would be cool if you did them too ).
- Maybe try doing the fur strokes in different directions? The same initial direction of the fur of course, but in real life the fur isn't always so neat. Traditionally I'm used to just changing the angle of the pencil, but I'm not sure how digital would work...
- You could try blending the red with the white in a slightly messier way if you'd like. I think it would look more natural, but it's only a suggestion. I still really like this picture as it is. Good job! And happy late birthday!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the combination! This is currently my favourite way of doing things as I lack traditional art supplies (aside from a couple of pencils)
I'm working on a new picture now and your feedback is really helpful! the fur thing especially, this one is a lot messier and "scribbly" I guess. There's some neat things with digital brushes which make the process a bit faster like making the angle change sporadically which is good for an under-coat of colour/shapes/lines. This next one also has a different fur pattern so I will practice blending the colour differences more naturally like you mentioned!
Again, thank you for the feedback, it's the best comment I've had on any art so far

I reeally like how you use the scanned part of your notebook as part of the canvas, it gives your work something special.
But you should watch out for the hind leg, the paw looks somehow strange in that position

Thanks! I am happy with this kind of gritty style, so I leave in the page edges and ringbinder and it looks alright
Yeah the legs went a bit... bad! a friend said that I should have put in 4 legs to make it look less 2D-ish which there are in the original drawing but faded to much, I might actually add them in and fix the back paws like you said. Thank you for the feedback it means a lot!
