This is embarassing to ask... but how do you set up those side icons (the one with the football manager 10, movies, etc) I'm confused... do you just drag a file from the finder and drag it on the desktop?

its an alias of a folder, you right click then 'make alias' then drag to the desktop

but... how do you remove that "arrow" with every alias folder i make..

make a 1x1px in photoshop and save as png dont put anything in it so its clear and then put where the alias badge is within candybar and that will get rid of it.
