looks cool. Not sure about the chaos Icon. Doesnt it make everything to expensive? Also, arn't combi bolters and combi weapons the same thing?

you dont have to take the icons
a combi-bolter is a twin-linked bolter, while a combi-weapon is a bolter with a one shot flamer, meltagun or plasma gun attached. this kinda stuff will be explained better when i get to the general wargear section

I always take an icon at present. I find it helps theme my squads. Close combat squads take khorne, objective defenders take nurgle, fast attack take slannesh and my heavy weapon huntres take tzeentch XD.
Though i see what you've done, allowing players to take marks seperate of the icon bearer (so if he dies the squad maintains its gifts) but considder that this may may many players moddels redundant. Every one of my 20 squads has an icon of some sort. Only one of these is an icon of undevided.
Also, isn't it better to call twin linked bolters, twin linked bolters for ease of remembering special rules?

yeah, its unfortunate about the redundant icon models now, but it was either have the mark and the icon seperate, or have it so that the unit loses the mark if they lose the icon.
i just prefer combi-bolters. its shorter too, which helps with the formatting.

you could simply state that the icon is representitive, like the sorcereres fimiliar, and say that should the icon bearer be killed, the squad maintains the gift bestowed by the gods.

icons are a seperate piece of wargear now, they function like teleport homers. or you could just have them in the unit to look cool

then perhaps include a mark of undevided. and that way it doesnt effect squads who can have different banners to keep the 'theme'.

each squad comes with the mark of chaos undivided as standard. Basically, it lets them re-roll leadership tests. You dont have to even represent that with an actual mark or icon, just have it representing their BALLS OF STEEL

ah wait. I see what youve done with the mark instead of icon. A good thought, but icons make much better looking units than marks i find.

More niceness. Btw, found the .doc for this.
Wouldn't it make more sense for the Havoc Champ to have BS 5 instead of WS 5? Just my take. I love it so far.

T_T
CSM seem to be a gang of egoists, fighting each other for dropped gun. Such a force cannot conquer worlds.
