All alone in the moonlight...Cats are so funny when they yawn
A sand cat, Felis margarita, from the Lincoln Park Zoo, in Chicago.
Note:
Folks, this isn't a housecat. It's a fully-grown Sand cat, not a housecat kitten. It's not a domestic species, either; it's a "little big cat."
Just wanted to clarify things

ive gone to lincoln park zoo like a million times but ive never seen a sand cat clearly enough to get a pic

Those cats are tricky things; I've been trying to get shots of the Brookfield Zoo's black-footed cats for a while, but I never end up with anything decent.
This was a lucky shot; one cat just decided to sit in the brightest area of the enclosure for a good five minutes. Everyone was taking photos like crazy XD
Good luck with the sand cats! I hope you get those photographs of them!

Congrats on making semi finals. This image is quite interesting, but, somehow, it seems too large. Still, it is cute. I'd love to see this cropped down to remove the blank space to the left.

Heheh, sometimes I think it's too small! I wanted to make the sand cat look as though it's an actor on a stage, singing its big solo number.
But you're right; chopping off that negative space would likely create a better composition. I'll give it a try in Photoshop and see how it looks

I've never heard of anyone owning a sand cat, but seeing as it is a wild animal, it probably would make for a very poor pet.

Heheh, I've been living in Illinois for 12 years and have yet to see a wild river otter; wild animals are strange like that
Sand cats are nocturnal and "near-threatened," so they're probably pretty hard to find, but if you ask around a bit, you might be able to find out where people frequently see sand cats.

Have you tried the Riyadh Zoo? It seems to have quite a few sand cats; one site says 14!
Just keep searching around the Internet and you're bound to find something

the thing is i live in jeddah and the only zoo we have is al-an'am zoo it's a privet zoo and it's really disgusting

I just looked it up; that zoo looks terrible! Perhaps a road trip is in order? Or maybe even a plane trip to Chicago!
Quite frankly, I know very little about zoos in Saudi Arabia and sand cats in general, so I can't provide much help beyond simple Google searches. Sorry that I can't be of much assistance.
Have you tried talking to any local wildlife photographers or animal enthusiasts? They might have some useful information

Sandcats are a bit of the odd ones out in the feline family... they don't look at all tough like the other wildcats XD

So I came to your gallery because I saw the mouse in the cape, thought it was just wonderful and thought I would leave a comment --- and then I saw this. I have a HUGE soft spot for kitties.
