I may be uploading this on Nov. 2, but I'll have you know, I finished this yesterday, so it's on time!

The pooka/puca is a shapeshifting trickster from Irish folklore. In most stories I've found, they take the form of a horse, but they dabble in other species, like dogs and goats, typically with black fur and red or gold eyes. Modern pop media pookas tend to lean toward rabbits for reasons that are unclear to me. Pooka's Day is November 1 and marks the end of the harvest; all remaining crops are to be left for the fae.

Anyway, I didn't draw anything for Halloween, so I figured I'd draw something for Pooka's Day.
