Ok, WHO is Frisk?

They didn’t exist before the end of the pacifist route. (Yeah that’s right!)

You play as (for the purposes) Chara for the whole game! (I know, right?!)

I read this post on Steam that intrigued me and it was about, what they call, an “Angel Soul”. 

(Having an “Angel” Soul could also be the reason you can change souls. :3)

Think about this-

When Chara and Asriel’s souls combined, Asriel became something that no one has seen before, because human and monster souls have never combined before.  It doesn’t last long, but Chara was conscious when he brought her body up from the barrier, even though they were dead.  This can be explained by the Determination that humans have in their soul and possibly the say they had in what the body did.

Chara only wanted to attack the humans at full force, AFTER they attacked Asriel only because he had their body.  Asriel says, “I was the one that resisted.” which he had come to believe had caused their death.  When he dies, he makes it to the Underground at the final moments where they both spread their dust. 

We later learn how Flowey was created with a portion of Chara’s Determination.  This allows him to have the reset and save ability that he mentions in the genocide route along with the rest of his story about how he got bored of EVERYTHING. 

Now This –

What if the name you type at the begging, is actually Flowey calling your name? (I know, you probably already new that)

Now Enter the “Fallen” Human –

You wake up shortly afterwards, not knowing ANYTHING about yourself, how you got to the underground, and you have bandages on you.  (-_- )

(Now let’s take another piece of information form the bad kid route.  When you meat “Chara”, they say they are the demon that comes when people call its name, and also thanks you for awaking them.  Flowey, obviously, calls out Chara’s name)

Think about how the game SHOULD be played –

Neutral, Good Kid, and Bad Kid Route, in that order.  (Toby doesn’t like it being called the genocide route actually…look it up, I am not kidding O_O)

When/If you kill Toriel in battle, once you get back try to talk to her, you say, “You thought about telling Toriel that you saw her die.  But….that’s creepy.”

Wouldn’t that mean that your mentality was screwed up from the begging?  You can’t tell me this would honestly be the first thing you would try to talk about, AT ALL. O_O

You could argue it’s because of possession, but “Chara” says that you have “awakened” them at the end of the bad kid route, so how could they be actively be controlling you before they were even created? 

This just points out one example of your mentality.  Another, is the fact they you CAN pour out all of the water in front of Undyne.  If you haven’t KILLED anything, then you aren’t possessed!  If you have the capability to be a cruel person without “Chara” influencing it, then why?

Because you can.

You are Chara, and you have the power to change your fate.  “Chara” is just the manifestation of your hated for everything and it doesn’t actually represent the character (not you) Chara at all.  (Please read link above) Chara isn’t that bad of a person, so that sort of sets you in the Neutral Route from the start.

In closing –

In the Good Kid Route, you play as Chara.  A troubled soul who ended up causing lots of problems by ACCIDENT.    They didn’t WANT any of the things that ended up happening, to happen.  When you think about it this way, Frisk is a new persona that Chara claims because they have changed so much (explaining why Asriel doesn’t recognize you as Chara anymore) and had felt like they redeemed themselves as a person and fixing all their mistakes, along with helping with everyone else’s problems..  They basically give everyone who they deserve to come and save them.  Even Asriel says, “You’re the type of friend I wish I always had.”

In the Bad Kid Route, you take Chara’s hatred, and let it grow into something you couldn’t control anymore after you reached LV 20.  Of course, after it manifested into its own being and leaving Chara, they would feel awful.  They may not have the right to feel this way, but isn’t that why you try to go and fix it?  Doing something awful just because you can, is never really the right answer.  This also explains why you HAVE to give them your soul.  They are a part of your soul now, that can never be fixed because it is forever stained in your mind, and becomes implosive.

(It’s implied you kill everyone after a soulless good kid route…)
