When he started to talk too much.
Not in vain you brought him to Golgotha,
When he made your will his own.
Not in vain you went back on your word,
When you saw that not even you could foresee,
That he is just a man and a slave to his vices.
The light exists only in the dreams!
Not in vain you crucified him, when to his followers,
He left the hypnotic pendulum as an heirloom.
Not in vain you even fooled and sent the betrayer,
To doom your son for twenty pieces.
Not in vain even you spat on your word,
When you saw there is one even mightier then you.
Not in vain does Golgotha bleed in flames and screams.
You took back the servant who overestimated himself.
But they still love him, they still wait for him.
The one who united them into an invisible slavery.
