Hi guys,
This is just what I've been looking for! Can anyone recommend a freeware program that could help me create icons? I'm fairly new at this
I just downloaded Inkscape-0.48 and GIMP 2, and have had a little play with them- but as of yet have not found that they have the capability to save my work as .ico files. Any insights? If you know these programs, can they save to .ico file format? If not, is there a free program you would recommend?
Any advice would be gratefully received!

Hey!
I don't think Inkscape or GIMP 2 are able to change images to .ico files, but there is a program I'm using that is able to change .png to .ico and viceversa
