Backstory: Void didn’t grow up in an orphanage, but she did grow up in a camp. In that camp, she was trained to fight and defend herself. Despite Void not going to a real school in Octo Valley, she was a fast learner. Once she was mature enough to live alone, she built herself a safe bunker for shelter. Although some have tried fighting her before, most mollusks haven’t gotten away from her unscathed. Not even Void wins in those fights nor comes out without a mark. The one octoling in Octo Valley who was there for Void was Ahato Mizuta before she named herself Dedf1sh. However, she and Ahato were separated from each other when the Octarian Military got involved and took Void in. She was lucky to have an immunity towards mind-control before she entered, but that was a risk even at itself. Void used the Octoleet Goggles as a disguise and worked her way up to be an Elite. That’s where she met Lydia and Nora and took them as her lackeys. Eventually after DJ Octavio’s defeat, Void left the Octarian Military to find her old bunker only to find it destroyed. Two years later, Void and her two lackeys moved up to Inkopolis to start a new life on the surface. Upon exploring Inkopolis for a few days, Void finds Jessica and tells her the truth of why she looked after her, and quickly gains her respect. Once Void began to trust inklings as a whole, she joined the Family of Friends feeling at home and she belongs with them.
