This is amazingly easy!!! But is there a certain 'type'i should save the emote as? Like PNG or JPEG or GIF?

I would say PNG because JPG distorts the image and GIF changes the colors.

I've always known how to make emotes on paint but I was wondering how do you get the white space around it to go away?

You've probably figured it our by now, so if that's the case, ignore me!
Once you've finished your emote, save it and then upload it to iaza [link] or another similar website. Then click on the transparent button (hint: it's on the right hand side of the screen!)and select the colour you want to be made transparent. Then save it again (but under a different name...).
There might be a way to do it directly in paint, but I don't know it... D:
