I wanted to do something all lovey dovey for Valentines.At the end of the last chapter of "A New Man" Mario and Peach are married and Peach is in her first trimester.
In this picture she is a further along and they are setting up a nursery.
They are hugging and nuzzling and just about to kiss. Mario is on his toes cause he doesn't want Peach to lean too much because of her condition.
Mario is now a prince by marriage and will be the future king of the mushroom kingdom. Peach is grooming him to be a member of royalty, but he would rather wear his overalls and cap than his fancy duds. He usually does wear his old clothes but he has a royal portrait appointment and has to dress up, and I wanted to draw him in princely garb.

Somehow whenever I see Peach now I think something will happen to her causing a miscarriage causing a new enemy to surface and a new era of unity...or maybe that's just me....
I love how you have the framed pic of the baby koopalings in the background...looks kinda like Lucio has hair similar to Ludwig....at least that I can tell....

I wouldn't be that cruel to Peach. The kid will be like his parents and I have this image in my head of his cousins...at least Lucio and Ozzy teasing him. "C'mon Ozzy, lets get make MJ turn into a Koopa."

I'd be fun if you add the other koopalings in there too! Little Elsie and....uhhh....Roy and Tethy's little boy!
For some odd reason I can easily picture the koopa fathers and uncles chuckling over the koopalings intended mischief....
Here's another bizarre though....if Daisy (or Peach) eventually participated in the koopa breeding season do you think she would be stuck in koopa form until she laid her egg/s? And do you think it would be a permanent switch? Just wondering...

I think Daisy would be the more likely of the two....Toadsworth I think would constantly put the pills in Peach's drink or a number of things to prevent a pure koopa heir...
