Description
A random Isil portrait from my sketchbook, done on classes somewhere in October, I guess. I wanted to test a new technique of digital processing of pencil drawing. I really like how it came out. Also I like her expression, it encourages me to work, as she was waiting for me to finish things.Sorry for rare updates recently. University and poor health don't go along well with making new art.

Whatever new technique you are using, it does an interesting job of capturing the texture of the paper.

Thanks, I managed to catch the paper texture by taking photo with camera, wasn't hard

May also be the angle of your lighting - which brings out texture. I have gone to trying to use a flat bed scanner, which gives me a more predictable, accurate outcome, but cameras have their advantages too!
