Description
This Space Dock design is something I created to match with my FAF (Fast Attack Frigate) - Mako Class starship. At first I started out small as docking space for these nimble ships. Then one thing lead to another and before I knew it I had a huge space dock capable of housing the largest of the cruisers I've designed so far (as seen in the painting) and repairing them as well. I'm happy for the most part with the finished product, but a pice of me thinks that I should add little support ships and cargo ships for detail; but then again that might make the painting too busy. What do any of you think?

Depicted here is a FAF departing the dock at high speed. Hopefully I captured the motion of the ship well enough. Please let me know what you think.

As usual I used Sketchup, Photoshop Elements and Painter 12 to complete this work.
