This more cartoony style on Spacedog is just plain adorable. I really love how expressive he is and how much fun you had using his eyes to help show certain emotions, namely silly. That pong. XD

Yea he can show almost everything on this face/display, as long it is monocrom.

I like it! The artstyle shown here looks very nice, and I think you did a great job showing all the expressions listed. And about the "Hollow/Blank" space...I believe that could be better expressed by showing what your character would look like by absolute default. Or in other terms; their "straight face". Anyway, it all looks very nice.
