they won the quarterfinals, I think it was but since it was a elimination game both teams got to keep going and since they both beat every team they ended up playing against each other for the gold on sunday.
it was a really amazing game but in the end canada beat the US in a overtime sudden death round kinda thing to break the tie

What an epic match! The moment that goal was scored, my God, national pride in me like never before! These Olympics were really amazing and I'm so happy I watched them, seriously.
