This is from a book i pulled out of for multiple reasons. However, I have very little interior work uploaded, so here you go.My hand didn't work after this piece.

Damn that grass must've been a bitch. Did you do most of that in the inking or did you actually pencil the individual blades before?

i penciled about 60% of the grass and then just made crap up when i was inking.

Cool. I was doing a sorta similar thing will some robot's wires making some foreground and others background but nowhere near this scale. I am really trying to do more with ink now too, it's weird how just knowing you can't mess up can really force you to do nail it the first time.

That must have taken you all day to do. Very nice, how many pages was this project? You would have killed yourself doing a whole book like this.

ha! that took me 3 days to do. it was 22 pages and i had time to do it, but there we other reasons i decided i needed to pull out. unfortunately, crap like this happens all the time in this industry.

that's what everyone keeps telling me. i like Barry's work so i could be compared to worse i suppose.
it took me 3 days. i was going to do the whole book this detailed, but baby jesus had other plans.

Well, the detail on this rocks. Especially that grass!!! This picture humbles me in so many ways. Again, an awesome job. Too bad the whole book didn't pan out, but you have these two pages to show off and be very proud of. Thanks for sharing them!
