Btw, I really like your figure work. Do you use any references other than models? Like one of Burne hogarths books?

not at this point anymore. i just pretty much do my own thing at this point. i'll use myself or my wife as a model if i need anything that looks natural or has extreme angles, but mostly i just come up with whatever you see.

that depends on what type of colorist you want to be. i'd like to see some atmospheric perspective happening. however, i'm very painterly how i approach colors. try some minor color hold and maybe some radial darkening on the piece. think layers!

My influences are artists more on the extreme which has helped me loosen up through the years.
If something is slick it has to be amazing otherwise I find it uninteresting without some texture or organic feel.
