Unless they have a Cavorite crystal (see H.G Wells 'First Men on the Moon')

Isn't it? Who made it? Zeppelin is, of course, a brand name, nothing else. It's not a category of craft as specified by any sort of aviation authority. If it was built by a company called Zeppelin, it is a Zeppelin. If not, then it isn't a Zeppelin. If you were thinking that it is not an airship by means of not being lighter-than-air, then I'm afraid there isn't a better name for it, as it isn't an aeroplane, helicopter, glider, autogyro, or anything else.
And it's ENVELOPE, not BALLOON.

There are balloons(more gas bladders really) within the super structure. Putting them on the outside of a military vehicle would be rather silly

Looks like it has some influence from Hayao Miyazaki's animated movie "Castle in the Sky". I like it.

Yes-I really love his designs I try to use history as a starting point, but I can't help but be inspired by his work. I saw Nausicaa when I was a kid back in the 80s and that had a massive impact on me (although I didn't know what it was until it came out again in the UK over a decade later). You know a film's a good one when you draw a bunch of pictures inspired by it later on-either on purpose or subconsciously

I mostly play 28mm heroic but I do play a bit of 15mm 'Flames of War'-which is not a bad scale as it allows for pretty detailed infantry models but also quite large armies of tanks and artillery and so on. Also 'Firestorm Armada'-not sure what scale that is as it's a space fleet game-very nice rules set though-great fun
Which game did you used to play?

i used to play AT-43. I don't know'd other wargames of yours, but i'm a fan of artillery and aircraft models, more than infantry. Just search King Mammoth at-43 on google and you'll know what i mean!

That game had some neat miniatures! I've got a few Dust figures and vehicles, which follow a similar theme.

What keeps it in their air? I don't see any balloon or inflation devices or any rotor blades?

that's why Balloons are not used as military aircraft anymore :/ Maybe if it has rotor blades on it (which would have looked sick as practical)
