Old school. That's a second generation TGV, the Atlantique if I'm not mistaken.

Yes and no, in fact. The Atlantique is only used on LGV Atlantique (ie High Speed Line Atlantique). This picture was taken on LGV Est so the right name should be "TGV Reseau". Regarding the whole train, a TGV Atlantique has 10 passenger cars whereas the TGV reseau has only 8... The power cars are the same.

Exactly. I'd even say that it's a "renovation Lacroix" TGV.
But actually, from outside, there's no difference between an atlantic and a "réseau" TGV, except, sometimes, for the number of cars. ^^

En fait non. Ce TGV est un TGV réseau rénové Lacroix. Le TGV détenant le record du monde actuel est une version modifiée spéciale d'un TGV Duplex contenant, entre les voitures 1 et 2, et 2 et 3, les bogies moteurs du nouvel AGV.
Cela dit, on peut dire que "les TGV" ont le record. ^^

Actually no. This train is a "Network TGV", "Lacroix" renew. The current world record holder TGV is a specially modified Duplex TGV with, between cars 1 and 2, and 2 and 3, the new AVG motories cars.
However, one can say "TGVs" are holding the record. ^^
