Description
Barnabas Collins in an art nouveau style, surrounded by elements from his character and the movie.Took about 10 hours from start to finish, 100% Photoshop. I tried to use minimal colors, as I usually do t-shirt designs which requires that, so I only used 6 colors, the gradients can be half-toned. I'm pretty happy with the end results, what do you think? Please leave a comment/critique, thanks!

While you won 3rd place in the contest, I like your entry the best.
It captures Johnny Depp's take on Barnabas \well. Not to mention the border and the background is really cool. I love Barnabas' expression, too

nice! this piece is evidence that either a.) someone woke Barnabas up somewhere between 1890-1910...or... b.) Mucha was a vampire himself...and created this somewhere earlier than the late 1700's and then went into hiding shortly there-after... but seriously....this piece is really well done...i would wear one as a tee...everyday

Ah, recalling Alphonse Mucha, here; love the intricate nameplate below the figure. This could easily fit upon a Parisian wall as an advert for the film. I love how you have incorporated symbols of the undead in the "halo" around Barnabas. Of course, Angelique must look down on all of this. The seahorses are a fine touch, as are the cobwebs. The color palette, while minimal, evokes mystery and suspense. Barnabas, himself, is rendered with a clarity of detail in the clothing, hands, and face. Well done, and good luck to you!

Art nouveau style, for the "nouveau" Barnabas. I love the little details in the windows around his head that symbolize his new life, and also Angelique above his head.
