I see what were you doing here and I think it would turn out very cute if only you keep poking with a needle until it would be more solid. It's not that hard but it is VERY time consuming, I know, I do needle felting as my hobby.

No problem! Here's other tip: It will shrink while you poke it more and more, remember that. It's fine but if you want it bigger, just add more wool.

It's not that hard.
You just need to keep moving the wool and poking it 
also refrain from poking urself xD
