I had such fun making this one. I love moray eels, simply because I once named a character of mine Moray (or Murene in Dutch), that's just how it goes

You'd think a moray eel would be easy to make, seeing as they have a snake like body, but it took several tries before I got the head right. Maybe it's because of their simple anatomy that there is no room for errors.
Funny thing, while I never mind my fingerprints being visible (I think it's the charm of handmade items), in this case I actually think it adds to it. Moray eels don't have scales, but they do have wrinkles and my fingerprints seem to create those

Of course I had to give this little underwater scene a nice tropical feel with the sea anemones and sponges. I somehow can't do turquoise without thinking tropical ocean

All in all, I'm very happy with this piece and it will be hard to let go of it. And yet I've still put it up in my Etsy Store
