Description
The next day's evening has come and Mink is already waiting for Santa's sledge to arrive and pick her up. She is wearing the thickest winter mantle she could find and has also put on some thick gloves, her winter boots, a woolen cap and has wrapped a long checkered scarf around her neck. With this outfit, she surely won't be cold on her way to the North Pole. Night has already fallen as Mink can finally hear a slight jingling sound from the nearly totally black winter sky. "This must be Santa!" Full of excitement she runs out of the house and as she has just closed the door behind her when she sees the sleigh that is just landing in front of her. It was smaller than Santa's normal sleigh and it was pulled by only one reindeer. She looks a bit puzzled but slowly smiles as she realizes who is pulling it. It was Rudolph!

"Rudolph!? Is that really you?" Mink asks the red-nosed reindeer.

"Hello Mink. Its a pleasure to meet you. And yes, you guessed right! I am really Rudolph. Santa sent me out to pick you up, since he is pretty busy at the moment. We will have enough time to talk on our way to the North Pole. Come on, I expect you don't want do be late, do you?" Rudolph smiled at her, as Mink gets onto the sleigh.

"Isn't this sleigh too heavy for you to pull it on your own?" Mink asks nervously. "Nah, absolutely no problem. Trust me!" Rudolph calmly answers as he starts to get moving. He pulls the sleigh along the short forest path, quickly lifting off of the ground and flying into the winter sky on its way to the North Pole.

On another note, this is the first time I've ever actually drawn a reindeer (this little story is ending up with me drawing all sorts of things I've never drawn before) but this is my favorite page yet.
