One day I was thinking of all the dragon illustrations I`ve seen, and realized that while there are a million chromatic and metallic and jewel-colored dragons, you very rarely see any patterned dragons, like leopard or zebra or giraffe patterned dragons, or really just any design. So I drew this. Markings are based on an ocelot`s. I was planning on doing some others...but I`ve always been horrible at doing series.Related content

The texture is lovely! I love the way you've colored it, adding in reds and oranges in the trees! Most people deal in absolutes, simply using warm colors on one part and cold colors on the other. But what you've done is a nicemix of the two, adding a little realistic light to the shadows in there.

Aww, this one reminds me of a story my mom used to read to me when I was little. This girl and a lion goes on an adventure at night, she's dreaming, but I didn't know that until I was grown up. Very good picture
