This is so intricate and.. WOW! Andrea, you really need to scan this in or edit it instead to bring the colours out. The picture alone doesn't do it justice! It's strangely fascinating seeing Chinese ink being used in art it wasn't made for. Some elements (e.g. the green) add effects that you wouldn't otherwise achieve without this medium. I am so stunned.

yeah it wasn't a very good shot I admit. Oh the colour is part of chinese ink painting too actually. They use colour permanent colour pigment that has similar characteristics to water colour, just that it isn't water soluble.
