A battle for the ages! Two composers, one angry fight! Who will win? Nightmarish Danny Elfman or adventurous John Williams? Only time (and bloodshed) will tell!!(This should have been on Celebrity Deathmatch.)

I liked it. It wasn't his best but I did enjoy it. I heard he isn't doin the Sweeney Todd music and that saddens me.

I think only Danny would have the guts to rip out his opponents heart and eat it, so I think he'd win.

Gah, this is a tough one. On one hand, Elfman has a wide array of talents and a quirky style. On the other hand, Williams composed some of the best soundtracks of our time - Hook, Schindler's List, Star Wars, just to name a few.
So how will this fight end? Maybe John Powell shows up, and they're both like, "We have to combine powers to stop him!" And then they kick his candy-a** and become an unstoppable, techno-soundtrack-fighting duo.
Nice caricatures, by the way. I like Elfman's soul patch and crazy grimace.

Danny's music also makes me weep with the beauty of it...and yeah....pretty much I wanna drag out my plastic lightsaber and have a Jedi battle with the kid next door when I hear John Williams...
Not that John Williams is inferior....except that Danny Elfman is way more awesome... John Williams doesn't have his own band... ^_^

He's Danny, what else is there to say?
John has done nothing memorable to me except a few Star Wars songs and they're from different times.
John was composing when Danny had the Mystic Knights going.
Danny is this generation's composer.
John is that generation's.
They're both good, but I discovered Danny before John.
And Danny's scores bring me to tears, make me smile and want to dance all at once, while John's make me want to fight Darth Vader.

I dunno, Jurassic Park had a pretty awesome scoring. Home Alone, though a terrible ass movie, had a pretty damned cool theme. And let us not forgot that he's responsible for providing the epic music from the Harry Potter films.
He's definitely not to be overlooked.
