Physical Description: Uma is a medium brown lynx with light spots, a cream underside and black marking fading on her limbs and tail. She has a pink nose, pawpads and light blue eyes. She has quite an average build, though is not very large in size-overall.

Armor: Her armor consists of a red scarf, shoulder plates, a single back plate and foreleg wraps. All are red, orange and black in color with the shoulderpads have a light blue accent to them.

Amiable/ friendly: Uma is quite the social and friendly young feline. She believes herself to be fairly easy to get along with and loves being in the company of others. She will always be willing to make new friends and meet new faces without being quick to judge. Uma is pretty accepting of almost anyone and it would be difficult to give her a bad vibe.

Compassionate/ solicitous: Being so open and understanding with others, Uma expresses a deep concern for anyone around her. She cares deeply for all of her empire-mates and is always willing to be an outlet for a needed vent or conversation. She is fairly perceptive in noting when something seems to be wrong with a friend, and will try her very best to help.

Eccentric/ Goofy: The lynx rather enjoys a good laugh. She will often come up with some odd joke or method of action that others might find peculiar or silly. With her friendly attitude she can crack a joke to just about anyone anytime she sees and opportunity, especially around friends.

Passionate/ determined: Once she has set her mind to something and made a decision it would be very difficult to change this feline's mind. She does not give up easily and will stick to her plans without too much hesitation. Above all she desires the best for those she holds dear and would do anything to ensure that she does her best to keep others safe and happy. If she comes across something that she enjoys to do or a particular thing that interests her, she may take it up quite obsessively, being overly fascinated and overjoyed by her own work and participation.

Strong/ tenacious: Despite her smaller size she is not at all weak. Even in more difficult situations, Uma will continue to fight and give her all. She of course is not without fear, but acts as fearless as can be, and refuses to give up unless she absolutely has to. She very much admires the god Ignis, for the courage and strength he displays, hoping to show these qualities in herself as well.

Fantasizer: Uma, along with her passion can become quite enveloped in various things. She can easily be caught day dreaming or imagining herself in heroic or brilliant situations in her off moments. She will try her best not to, but sometimes may lose focus getting absorbed in her own ideas and fantasies.

History

Uma does not hold much memory of her life before she reached Fire Empire, though she does hold the unpleasant memory of the event that brought her to it. She remembered running frantically away, with her mother and a friend. She was running from another cat she knew to be her father, though why exactly she didn't know. In the midst of their attempt to escape, she could recall her friend falling behind and only being sure that the cat perusing them had made them perish. Soon her caught up to them as well, and her mother turned to face the attacker, telling her young cub to keep running.

Uma did as she was told and kept her paws churning in an attempt to escape, glancing back to see the two adult felines tearing into each other. Though just as she was about to turn her gaze back forward, she barreled straight into something, letting out a startled and pained yelp. At first she assumed it was a tree, but looked up to find that instead it was another much taller cat, others surrounding him. At first Uma was terrified, but was quickly reassured as the feline clearly seemed to have no intent of harming the young cub. The first stranger stayed with her as soon, the others left in search of the incident that Uma had left behind her. They had found nothing other than some churned up dirt and grass and some blood spattered on the ground.

For a while the small lynx had a hard time adjusting and trusting those around her, as she was still quite cautious and frightened from the past event. Over time however, she began to recover from the ordeal and grew into quite the happy and friendly little ball of fluff. She grew to lover her new home, and desired to protect it and those in it with all her heart, just as she had been saved by them. Eventually she became old enough to be apprenticed and start her training to become a gladiator of the Fire Empire, something she had been longing for month prior to it actually happening. She was apprenticed under a young gladiator named Collude.

One day though, early on in her apprenticeship, both her and her mentor were overwhelmed and seized by a group of bounty hunters. Both cats were taken back to the city, captured by the felines that dwelled in it. Uma was crushed and being taken away from her home outside of the walls, and kept a hope that soon she would be able to escape or be rescued again. As time passed, Uma remained in the city, much longer than she had hoped. Though she never gave up, still holding the resolve to one day make it back to Fire Empire and continue the life she had started there. Throughout her time spent in Massilia she hadn't been as harshly dealt with and put to use as others around her had. Though she did see some days in the coliseum, most of her time was spent trapped in her cage. Both witnessing events in the coliseum and being locked away for so long, did not entirely un-phase her and it may take a little while for her to adjust to living in the empire once more when she returns.
