To me, like many, Pokemon isn't just a game and a story, it's a creative experience that you go through and grow from. I don't know if I'm the only one to do this or if it's commonly shared but I like to add character to my Pokemon team, which aids in motivation to win in battle. I'll always play as the same trainer, coming to each new region fresh, and ready for a new challenge, when it's balanced, and available, I would migrate up my old favorites, and use them in battle. Here is what I have for my Pokemon X game.

This is the secret training spot me and my Pokemon go to to prepare for all the after game content of X and Y.

Chilei the Charzard - (male) I asked a friend to help name him and we came up with Chile, a hot food that is also spicy like his personality. He mega evolved into X, because I had X version and because, Mega Charzard X, a flame beard hotter that our sun, or Mega Charzard Y would I chose you other than to fulfill the purpose of your stats?

Dorance the Grenija - (male) This is the result of a friends first reaction to Frogidier that we laughed at for way to long. Originally the less subtle Bane, now Dorance (Bane's real name in the comics) also stands for his en-durance stat wise or something (not really, spell check just now gave me that idea) I drew him with that iconic Dark Night Rises Bane mask(tm) to define him. Oh right, canonically, he had a yet to be written horrifying accented. His substitute attack doll, is cut from the screen shot on www.smashbros.com/us/character… , and his pose and this picture in general was inspired by the awesome fan art Ken Sugimori drew for the site and fueled by the hype from the Smash Bros Direct.

Donwatosu the Torterra - (female) The same starter I had when I first got Pearl Version for my birthday, all these years and we still battle together. Her name is a combination of the Japanese word for Docile (like the nature) and Torterra's Japanese name. To bad I can't change the ot. to Spario, the and the name until my AR power saves gets here. (no I didn't think of this clever cross lingual name all those years ago)

Kawayiosa the Sylveon - (female) Hiding behind Donwa, because I dropped a mini mushroom in her Pokefood.(Actually I wanted to make it work but I'm only still learning the intricacies of drawing so, mini mushroom) Kawayi and Donwa, are like sisters, always sticking together in and out of battle, with triple battle movesets, that complement each other well, both having a big draining move, and same type hard hitting moves. Kawayi's name is a combination of the Japanese words, kawaii (cute) and something I forgot that means strong or powerful. It represents that a cute Pokemon can be over powered to.

Daed Manning the [str]Whatelse[/str] Gengar - (male) His name is a dumb parody of a dumb Ace Attorney Investigations reference, the victim of a case is named Deid Mann, pure stupid. He is the ghost of Daed Manning, a man that came up to me in Kalos and asked to help me but died before I got to say yes, then turned into a Gengar and I caught him to help fulfill his wish. (And yes I just came up with that bullshit on the spot 'cause he was just a Gengar but that's good enough so what ever)

Also my arm falls off if you didn't know, so that's my arm, comically throwing the Pokeball.
