Baubles are a magical creature from a world called Rechek. They are a CLOSED species owed by SparkedFires , you may NOT make your own.

Baubles' Marbles are extremely important to them, as it is the vessel for their souls. A Bauble's life is infinite as long as their Marble remains intact, given their body isn't completely destroyed. Marble's also are how Bauble's reproduce, more on that here .

The symbols on a the Marble often act as some sort of indication of the Bauble's abilities or personality. For instance, a Bauble with a star symbol may like being in the spotlight, while a Bauble with the symbol for Mercury might be fast and agile.

Mimic Marbles are actually often multiple pieces and can be used as what they are. For instance, you can use a Marble shaped as a teapot as a teapot! Don't expect the Bauble to be happy about it though.

Elemental Marbles are like containers for elemental magic. A Bauble with a Marble like this can actually use this magic too! Not... extremely well, of course. But something's better then nothing.

Orbiting Marbles ave a gravitational magic that causes them to float around their Bauble. It's nearly impossible for Marbles like this to be lost.

As for Cracked Marbles... though Marbles are extraordinarily durable, they can be broken and cracked. When a Marble is cracked, it loses it's luster and symbols, turning black or dark grey, while the crystals inside, the physical embodiment of the Bauble's soul, remain the same color. Elemental Marbles lose their elemental magic, and mimic Marbles become one solid piece, losing it's original details and becoming king of like a silhouette.
