It's been about literally over five years, but I got the itch to draw a really ancient species of mine again (seriously, I came up with these guys in early high school), which also happens to be one of Jawz's lesser-used shift forms!

So behold, isowolves ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

OKAY, SO: We've actually got a couple different individuals here; the more saturated/simple one(s) with blue eyes is Jawz's shift form, the headshot to the left is another shifter who may actually be her relative IS IT JAWZDAD??, and then you've got a wild-type coloration and a calico/painted variant! These guys actually have a few other general coat variations that aren't shown here. I think it's possible that people may actually rarely keep these guys as pets (despite being non-domesticated), and after looking at that top one I can absolutely see why.

(Also, as an aside- you guys may have noticed before that a few of my species seem to straddle the line between canine and feline traits; this is actually not a stylistic thing, but rather because there's a separate and distinct taxonomic group in my headworld that is neither true dogs nor cats, but likely related to both much further back in time. I'm creatively calling it Felcanidae for now.)

Also The Second, people who've known me a REALLY long time might've noticed the species name change; these guys were originally called 'icewolves', but A) that's boring and uncreative and B) isowolves sounds so much cooler.
