Description
This is a fanart I did of Chobits in late 2002. I was in a big chobits phase at the time & tried my hardest to capture the style. Both dresses are a combination of CLAMP & my personal design (that's when I steadily started climbing out of a goth phase to, but I was still heavily follwing a lot of that clothing style at the time).
Chobits was a nice comic & anime. I loved the way the whole comic is inked, & the "Your Eyes Only" artbook still remains as one of my favorite artbooks (it's all the attractive dresses+CLAMP really made an effort to improve there characters figures with this one.
While being aimed as a shonen comic, it still showcases great CLAMP girly shojo-ness! )
I don't know how long it took me exaclty (I photoshopped-airbrushed out the list of dates in the corner of the page, so I forget ).
It took a while though. A few days, but mostly drawn for a couple hours a day spread across a few days . Sometimes that's how I get these really detailed drawings finished, & it's worth it the end .
I'm still happy with the way I shaded the black dress, that's why I was happy to post this old thing!

-One more thing-it's almost 6 years so critique is discouraged for that reason. Plus I'm still kind of proud of it in spite of .

EDIT-I'm going to start watermarking my pictures from now on-hence the hard-to-see but purposely-done-that-way writing on it.
