Personality: curious and wanting to know more about the outside world, sheltered by Van Kleiss, naive, somewhat emotionless due to traumatic experiences he's dealt with but is learning how to deal with the emotions over time as he spends time with Providence, doesn't really think on his own and sometimes needs to be told what to do as he was dependent on Van Kleiss, wants to change for the better and improve himself, easily influenced by others such as Zeke, often wanting Six's approval on things, he often swears when nobody's around(despite originally getting it from Van Kleiss and Six later on), but over times starts to become more confident in himself and acts more outgoing, positive, and arrogant and flamboyant at times, and he tries not to let others's words hurt him but as he's just a kid and his traumatic experiences make it hard for him to deal with hurtful words

Bio: Rex was born in Sweden by his two parents and his older brother, Caesar. At the site of the Nanite Event, Rex was injured and the injury was fatal until his parents and brother decided to inject an original batch of nanites into him as a last resort to save his life. The nanites saved his life but a dreadful side affect was that the nanites made him into an EVO and it was irreversible. A few months after Rex's accident, the Nanite Event went off and Rex ended up in Hong Kong with amnesia and there he met Tuck, Cricket, and Skwydd. He stayed with them for at least 2 months but sold them out to Quarry for his own freedom and then lost control of his powers one day, resulting in him going full EVO and attacking Mexico. However, as the newly formed Providence was involved in trying to take down Rex, he was found by Van Kleiss after the whole fiasco and was raised by him instead.

Rex lived with Van Kleiss for about 6 months and under those 6 months, Rex was trained harshly by Van Kleiss and The Pack made of Biowolf and Skalamander(Breach will come in later, possibly along with Circe), and was forced into illegal EVO fighting(think of it as illegal dog fighting, but with EVOs). Rex was abused physically and emotionally by his adoptive father and was basically kept as a slave/puppet, earning Van Kleiss illegal money by winning fights and killing other EVOs. After coming up with a plan to kill Rex off after he had gotten enough money after a certain amount of time, Van Kleiss treated Rex as an object and one day, Abysus was attacked by Providence after they had found out about Van Kleiss's involvement in illegal EVO fighting but half the agents sent there were killed or were gravely injured by The Pack. This is when Rex met the Providence agents David Parker and Sylvia Emmerich, who survived the attack but revealed that Van Kleiss had fled during the fight. Although Rex was worried about his father, he figured he would've come back for him yet he didn't and decided to go with Providence as Van Kleiss didn't come back.

After staying with Providence for a while, a (former) member of Providence named Samuel Drake had tried to kill Rex with a large dosage of a drug meant for EVOs that acted as an atheistic for medical purposes. The drug left Rex extremely ill and he nearly died from the dosage but over time(mostly at least 2 days) he recovered from the drug and Samuel was fired for his attempt of killing Rex. During this time, he met Six and Holiday, and the two of them insisted White Knight to let Rex stay, and he agreed, as long as Rex is kept under control and doesn't cause problems. After a few days, he meets Zeke after a meeting and Zeke accidentally nearly shoots Rex with a Providence gun and Holiday scolds Zeke for not being careful and tells him he could've just killed Rex with the weapon(as Zeke is known for being a soldier in training and tends to cause accidents despite being a genuinely smart kid). When Six and David are gone to deal with Tuck, Cricket, and Skwydd in Hong Kong, Zeke is (regretfully) tasked to train Rex in Six's place by White Knight and the two get along pretty well over the short time they spend together and they sneak out one day after training, where Rex and Zeke meet Ashley, one of Zeke's best friends and she's his half sister as his mother divorced her first husband after a domestic violence issue and she decided to marry Ashley's widowed father after a few years of dating. After coming back form their "road trip", White Knight yells at them and punishes them.

Rex and Zeke are practically brothers and David acts like an uncle to him, along with his girlfriend Jessie who acts like his aunt. Holiday doesn't like to admit it, but she acts just like how a mother would with her kid and she deeply cares about Rex and doesn't view him as a weapon like most of Providence does, and will go to great lengths to keep him safe, along with Six. Six feels as if Rex shouldn't look up to him but respects Rex for trying to change his ways and be the better person he wants to be and often tries to help Rex with his past with Van Kleiss.
