imagine if chara was still mad at asriel, though.

in the pacifist run, even after asriel has his compassion back, he was still ok with killing some random kid over and over, projecting his feelings towards chara onto them. if frisk were chara, asriel would have wanted to do that to them just to keep them around, and that's unsettling.

i don't know about you, but i think it'd suck to hear your best friend say he'd prefer this kid over you, and hearing him say you weren't the greatest person after you died for him and his family.

asriel had helped them with their plan and pulled out last minute and let chara kill themself for nothing.

they both ended up dead because the plan failed.

and after chara becomes aware of the player they would realize they could never go back to the way it was because of the time loop the player puts them in.

and that timeloop wouldn't have existed in the first place if asriel had helped them free monsters back then.

yet, the empty shell that remains of him has no problems with doing what chara had wanted him to do back then.

then flowey has the audacity to assume chara would want to live with him on the surface after all that. after they have long passed the point of no return.

he desperately tried to make up for it way too late.

idk i think they have a lot to be angry about, and they never got to directly interact with asriel until the genocide run when they were already past the point of no return so they probably have many unresolved feelings.

they killed him in the brutalest way possible, after all.
