Amongst the woods stood a girl with black and red stripes on her hood and carries a golden egg in her basket for her young grandma, who's quite lazy...her name, you ask? She's Hermione. The Little Red and Black Riding Hood in the woods...

When I first read the story of a little parody mixed with other fairytales called "Little Red Riding Hood's Mother Goose on the Beanstalk", a story the Beano developed in 2021 on their christmas issue, I just fell in love with the idea, despite it being a parody and a bunch of kids trying to peform a story by themselves. I even loved Minnie being in a Little Red Riding Hood costume!! After I saw the story a couple times, I decided to try and write a story if it were a serious story (I didn't actually write the full story but rather the plot instead) and thus, Minnie became Minnette in the old version of that serious story. I decided to redesign her in the new version slightly and rename her to using her real name: Hermione.

I also decided to edit the image digitally a little bit after scanning and struggling to find the right lightning for it.. I added some shadow in the whole of the artwork and added highlights to her eyes and her golden egg. I might explain a little more about my idea of the serious version of Little Red riding Hood's Mother Goose in the Beanstalk in the future... What do you think?

And for those that want to see and read the story themselves, I provided a public folder of the story with all pages! I just downloaded them from an archive website (a famous one) and slapped them in so, enjoy!: drive.google.com/drive/folders…
