GURL, how many layers did you use? Β I would have use like, 130 XF

~6 layers to do outlines (head shape, mane, horn shape, horn detail, eye shape, eyelashes) then I merged all those
1 layer for the body fill (the white part, filling everything in the lines, mane and all)
1 layer as a clipping mask above the body fill for the light blue mane
1 layer for shading
1-2 layers for overlays and lighting
2 layers for eyelash shading and lighting
1-2 layers for the eyes
1 layer for the background
So, 15 layers C:
Who ever said you need hundreds of layers to make good pictures? You learn what you can merge and put on the same layer over time~

I know but I am REALLY paranoid when it comes to layering and it pays off..it just takes a ton of layers. Β And I am afraid that I would notice something that changes everything, something that has happened before. Β But, I can't make anyways, my tablet is having a hardware problem, Β that will likely require me to take it back to Wacom or get another. Β It won't even turn on anymore and I know it is not the USB since I have used multiple on two computers, one that would only have it work for two minutes. Β So no layering for me :F

I used to use sooooo many layers to make the most simple pictures I was worried about that sort of thing too. I've run into layering problems too since then though, like I'll merge multiple colors of lines onto one layer and then I decide I want to change the color or remove one of the lines, but even then it's not too bad to fix. Just takes a little more time. I had to get used to using fewer and fewer layers on my old computer because it'd crash and I'd lose all my work if I had too many.

Ah. Β Normally for me, when I change something and I try to fix it, my perfectionist mode will turn on and I will start over or change nearly every line.

aww :c If you have a large enough image, I'd say 1000+ by 1000+ pixels, any little detail can be easily overlooked. When it's posted on this site, they shrink the picture to fit the page (unless you click download, then you have full size, but nobody ever does that anyways). So if you have a few out-of-place pixels, it should be fine. Unless you are making a pixel art thing that's not very detailed, a few pixels can mean a lot, but that's another story.

Omg I LOVE that movie!! I used to watch it twice in a row whenever it was in the DVD player. Like, the end credits would come up, and then I'd start it all over.
