how to make an ORIGINAL HTF OC

First off, think of a character concept!! What would you like your character to be? Keep note how the HTF universe is, so you gotta make your OC fit in somehow. Making your OC "dark" or "evil" won't really fit in, unless it's a villain. The HTFs are full of cuddly animals so make sure to add in some fluff and cuteness to your character!!

For names, use your OC's personality traits. Since this one likes to write songs, I'll call her Symphony. If you can't think up of a name that has to do with your character, just pick a human name, but add some cuteness to it! ((Ex- Samuel - Samiee ))

Clothes! I specifically made this OC female because I wanted to point out that every female in the HTF has a accessory on their head, so I added a music note pin on my OC's head. For those of you who are going to point out Flaky, they might have officially announced that she's a female, but in the show she shows no gender. It is okay for your OC to have clothes here and there, but refrain from giving them a full on outfit, they're not in need of them. Clothes in the HTF universe are mostly used to define what the characters are. ((Ex- Flippy's veteran clothes, Petunia's OCD, DB's disco clothes))

Also, PLEASE refrain from copying any clothes the original HTFs already have, that's just unoriginal and very unappealing. ((I'm looking at you, flippy and splendid sues. ))

After you're done dreaming up your OC, it's time for a personality flaw. Every HTF has a personality flaw, and it's what usually leads to their deaths. This OC, despite the fact that she can write songs, she can't play any instruments. She tries to practice but she always end up dying in some way. As advice, for every advantage your OC has over the regular HTFs, it should come with a flaw as well, to keep your OC balanced.

Backgrounds! Backgrounds aren't really necessarily, but you can give them one. Don't tread on the "depressing, my OC's life sucked" background, nor the "my OC went to WAR" path, and even "my OC was given super awesome powers and was raised as a super classified deadly assassin and went insane and now has 9 personalities so don't fuck with them" is bad too. Try thinking of a cute and cuddly background, they're can be some sadness and drama, but don't over-do it. Think about how your OC was molded into what he/she is today!
