I got inspired by a pride event I attended last Saturday. It's very validating seeing ace and aro merch at the stands, and seeing people carrying around ace and aro flags. It makes me feel less alone. And I've been extremely fortunate not to get chewed out by gatekeepers for wearing my ace flag at pride. Then again, gatekeepers are probably few and far between, and they can't hide behind a screen at a public event. I was disappointed that I didn't see any familiar faces at the event; the people I usually hang out with at pride moved out of state. ._. I still had a nice time, though.
