Description
This is a work in progress that I've had sitting on my computer for quite some time. The line art in the foreground that I have yet to color is by I've just been... going absolutely and completely insane with the background. x_x I must say this is by far one of the more complicated backgrounds I've ever done and I don't think that I'm even quite done yet....I hope to be done with this soon xD
Updated: Still not done detailing the background but I took a break from it to start on >_> well, Catriona. as always, I'm afraid I may have made this FAR too dark...
Updated again: I'm now afraid her dress is too light... meh... I may still redo it... just something about it :/ thoughts?

I don't think it's too dark, especially if you intend to involve the light source on the far right (glow from the house?)- It would make for some nice highlights and contrast on the lady. The railing on the left approaching the viewer looks much improved from yesterday, but the outside (left and right) edges seem stiff and a little too perfectly straight. The outside edge of the moon might benefit from being blurred. The pic has a really cool dreamy quality about it which you may loose if you brighten it too much. Love the detail on the flowers/ trees.

WOW.
1) Can't wait to see this when it's finished.
2) The railing posts look a little... "blob-like" at the moment, I'd strongly suggest sharper detailing or some light line edging or something to define them better (which you may have been planning anyway, this being a WIP and all).
Aside from that, I love the mood and I look forward to seeing it done

Thanks ^^ Trees make me nervous for some reason. x_x I find them hard to draw.

Nah, it makes sense that trees make you nervous They're so hard to draw with how complex they can be. Drawing them even only somewhat accurately, without just over simplifying them into cartoonish shapes is hard. :/
