You should really watch Arpeggio of Blue Steel. It's such a cute and action packed anime. Nemette is one of my Fancharacters for it.
Also though she can be cute, in Battle she gets real rough.

You should. It's about AI-equipped futuristic battleships in a Global-Warming-affected future society covered by more water. The battleships in it can project these humanlike things called Mental Models in order to appear human and all of them are mega cute!
In mine, Nemette is a Mental Model of the Nautilus Battleship. She is largely based on The Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, (like her nickname, Nemette, is inspired by Captain Nemo too). Her real name is Nautilus, but she usually calls herself Nemette.

Well it is a rather obscure anime. Ars Nova needs more love.
And yeah, it is cuter. Also her Drill Hair is supposed to represent how the ship has a giant drill on the front, and how a real Nautilus sea creature has a spiral chambered shell. And her Green Eyes reference another book by the same author called "The Green Ray" (and why I chose a Green Cake for her).
I wuv really poofy Drill Hair, it's too cute. Sadly, it's so uncommon in anime.
