Description
I know, I know, I know... I KNOW!! I promise I won't be posting too much art of him unless my friends come up with characters and want me to draw our OC's together, that'll be about it unless y'all would want more of him (I doubt y'all will, this was just for fun). Also, before you ask... I created the background myself after looking at thousands of references, so no, you won't be able to find it on the internet. I can always make a base for people to use if they choose, but I'd have to get enough requests to do that.
Basic Info:
Name: Misko Zen (pronounced Mee-sh-co Zen)
Age: 25 (when the canon storyline begins)
Height: 172 cm - 5'8"
Birthday: July 27
Sexuality: Bisexual
Outfit Descriptions:
Normal - A grey T-Shirt paired with grey capris sweatpants and black combat boots
Hero - A large grey hoodie, beanie, and half mask to hide his identity, muddy ripped jeans, and brown rain boots
Casual - A toned hoodie that actually fits, patterned leggings and black sneakers
Family:
Mother | Quirk: Forget - can cause people to forget her existence until they see her again
Father | Quirk: Condense - can condense the air around someone so they become immobile, can also control some winds
Relationship with parents:
Zen was born into a family where being without a quirk was asking for trouble. He was bullied throughout his childhood and abused at home, neglected by his parents who had high hopes for his birth, hoping they could implement him into the hero program in Canada, putting their country on the map. This didn't happen for their first child, and so Zen was overlooked for most of his childhood. He didn't mind, pretending not to exist was far better than pissing of his old man. When Zen was 16, he ran away from home, heading to Russia, and when he was 19, he miraculously gained a quirk, and found his way to Japan. He has not had contact with his parents since.
Status:
Hero name: Zenpath
Profession: Vigilante
- Because he is an immigrant to Japan who is registered as quirkless, Zen had no hope of becoming a Pro Hero. This doesn't stop him from doing what he believes to be right.
Quirk:
Empathy: Zen can see what a person's physical, emotional, and mental state is when touching them. It's easy for him to pick up on physical signals, and harder for him to read emotions, let alone thoughts, unless the person is experiencing powerful thoughts and emotions. He can also force someone to feel anything he wishes them to, although he cannot force thoughts into your head. For example, he can make you feel sleepy, calm, or stressed. However, he can also force someone to feel excruciating pain that will only ease up once Zen allows it. This comes with a price however, as when Zen forces a physical or emotional response from someone, the same is done to him, so if you're in unbearable pain, so is he.
* Zen has never tried this, but it may be possible for him to force a muscle (such as your heart) to stop, but as it would affect him too, he's not quite ready to try that one.
While learning how to use his quirk:
Zen failed miserably to begin with. He had a rough time with his quirk as he was forced into a completely different country when he gained it, and had little control of what he saw when he accidentally bumped into strangers. This only worsened his anxiety, but with the help of some kind people, Zen was able to control his quirk for the most part when a year had passed after his sudden emergence in Japan. His friends have tons of questions on how Zen found his way to Japan, registered himself, had an address (which when they investigated, found it was an abandoned warehouse), yet lived on the streets scrounging for food and shelter where he could when they first met. It worries them immensely when all the cards are stacked up against Zen, seeming to come from no where at the age of 19, unable to control his quirk, with scars he tries so desperately to hide from them, and the obvious trauma he has. All they know is that Zen refuses to use his quirk on them, and they wonder if it's because his own emotions and thoughts can be transferred to someone else. All this is speculation, however.
