Nicolaus and Frederik's parents! Yay!Both brothers resemble their father more than their mother, but while Nicolaus personality is very similar to his dad as well, Frederik is a very confident cat just like his mother. The two met randomly, both of them were strays. It was just a quick fling really, and when their mom told their dad that she was pregnant, he decided to leave, too scared of facing the responsibility parenthood brought with it. She raised the two brothers, but quickly abandoned them when she deemed them old enough to fend for themselves.

I'm thinking Thalia for the mother (which is the name of an old characters mother as well), but I don't know about the father.
Maybe something similar to the brothers names? He would probably have told her all about their family's weird naming-traditions.
It could show that their mother maybe cared more than she let on too ; )
