Meanwhile, in a Medical Facility on the Planet of Coruscant, the former Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, now Sith Lord Darth Vader was given new cybernetics and put into a life-sustaining black suit of armor. Upon regaining consciousness, Vader asked Emperor Sheev Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious what had become of his wife, and he told Vader that he had killed her in his anger. Unknown to both of the two Sith, Amidala gave birth to the twins Luke and Leia before her death.

Overwhelmed by his despair in the belief he had killed Amidala and their unborn child, which fulfilled his prophetic dreams of her death, Vader destroyed the medical droids and severely damaged the entire room through the Force. He broke free of his bindings on the operating table and, despite struggled to walk under the sheer weight of his new prostheses and armor, let out a cry of despair over losing everything he had loved.

Note this next part of in a comic book: While he was doing this, he slammed Darth Sidious against a wall in the surgical bay with the Force, Sidious had to use his Force Lightning to get him to stop. Then gave Darth Vader the tasked to kill a Jedi and retrieve their Kyber Crystal in order to power a new Sith lightsaber. Vader tracked Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a to the river moon of Al'doleem and confronted him. Vader eventually killed the Jedi Master and retrieved his lightsaber. He headed to Mustafar, where he bled the saber's crystal, turning it red. Then made his new Sith Lightsaber.
