Hahaha.. This picture only took me an hour to finish. I guess I was really motivated after looking at some of Sue Dawe's unicorns. Her's are soo darn good it makes me look like crap. Anyways, This picture served as a practice on lighting and shading. I did this one so swiftly, I can't believe how fast it took. I am really happy with the quality too. This picture is one of the most efficient ones I've ever made. The only thing that drawn me back was the color pencils I used to do this pic, because they are slow.Related content

it's gorgeous and i really love the detail in the wings! The hint of colour in the eye really works well too! Good movement. Making the eye just slightly smaller would be the only improvement critique i could make. It's stunning overall.

'Tis why I said it. I've all Dawe's work and hundreds other unicorn pics, but I renamed this one Unicorn 01 so that it'd be the first I see whenever I go through that folder. That's right...I saved it.
