Well, the tendency of horses is to be bigger and stronger :b , even more so in an interspecies war ... I do not doubt that in the times of Reach's fall, they have genetically modified animals for the army. x3

Could very well be! I've never heard of the UNSC using animals such as dogs or even horses anymore though. From what I've heard they use drones and other machines a lot, whilst animals seemingly ran out of style. That's why in my fics it's more the insurrectionists and colonists that use animals in battle as alternatives to expensive machinery. It's a very interesting idea though to put in horses bred for a huge size as cavallry.

Could very well be. After all, horses are still an intimidating view, so I can see why the UNSC police would use cavalry to impose any stupid ideas.
